National Floors was founded more than 30 years ago by Robert R. LaPorte. His goal was to provide high-quality wood floor installation at honest prices to customers across Greater New England. Robert still oversees all aspects of National Floors from the company’s Beverly, MA headquarters.

After establishing National Floors in his native Rhode Island, Bob moved to Boston’s North Shore in the mid-1990s, where he resides with his wife and enjoys spending time with their three children. When he’s not behind a belt-sander, Bob is an active athlete and youth sports coach.
